Delicz Roasted Vermicelli Masala Vadai Recipe

To begin the preparation of Delicz vermicelli Masala Vadai.

Combine the delicz vermicelli and curd. Mix well and keep it for 1 hour.

Combine dried red chilies, ginger and garlic, cloves. Grind it to a fine paste. Add it to the vermicelli curd mixture.

Add the chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well.

Heat the oil for deep frying. Make small balls with the mixture. Gently put in hot oil and fry till they are golden brown.

Serve immediately with some green chutney or some tomato ketchup.

Ingredients

1 cup Vermicelli/semiya

1 cup Curd/yogurt

1 tsp Salt – or according to taste

1 Onion- chopped fine

4-5 pinched Curry leaves- to smaller bits

1 small bunch Coriander leaves- chopped fine

Oil for deep frying

 

To grind into a paste:

1 Ginger- small piece

2 – 3  Garlic

3 – 4 Dried red chillies

2 – 3 Cloves
